Not confident, but starting again

Since originally joining this site over two years ago (I deleted my account in February and started again and just now deleted all my diary entries and am starting yet again) my weight has not changed. I'm basically stuck around the same weight. This morning I was 129.4 kg = about 285 lb.

I think I'll use this site to log weigh-ins, but try to find some other way of tracking calories. Here they still don't let you enter a short description with each quick entry, and it's too hard to remember what I ate by just looking at numbers, and too complicated to use the food database (in my opinion). To me, it's easier to look up nutritional information on Calorie King than here. The iOS app is convenient though, and if I just wanted to track calories without trying to remember WHAT I ate it's fine. I sure wish they would add an optional description field for quick calorie entry!

Anyway, I'm not sure what to do about what I eat at this point.

I'm thinking of going mostly vegetarian this time, just for a change, and enjoying more calories from vegetables, soba, fruits and (if I can find them) whole grains and not use calories on meat, chicken, fish, etc.

I don't want to go vegan or be too fanati though. It's too complicated. You get obsessed about the 15th ingredient on a food label being "beef extract" and can never find things to buy. And I'm undecided about eggs. The are pretty low calorie, have protein and are filling.

Anyway, here I am yet again, but not making progress.

I also thought of trying Weight Watcher's online, but I've tried their free trials before, and they don't really provide support and even the online plan is quite expensive - like $20/month. Plus it's hard to count points here.

As you can see I'm not feeling hugely confident. But I can't stand my current weight anymore and am getting seriously depressed. So I'll try yet again.

Oh why did I let all my weight rebound after I lost 100 lb?!
