Hey guys,
For the people who have no clue who I am..
I'm a newbie trying to become healthier..I'm using MFP to gain an extra 17 kg.
(I'm 180cm..48kg..)
Anyways..I figured out an easy way to get free motivation!
Simply..challenge yourself when it's a sunny day.
Correlate sunny days with a picture of yourself at the beach.
If that picture isn't perfect..you know what to do!
Don't be the unattractive and unhealthy fat girl or skinny dude (like me)
On a sunny day:
Weight gainers: Have 250 extra calorie on top of your daily set limit
Weight shredders: Burn 75 extra calorie! (and do it in a healthy way)
Imo this small tweak makes a huge difference
Assuming 3500 calories = 1 pound
My diet plan is 1pound a week..so 500 extra pounds a day.
Calculations below are based on that information and available for people who wants to see the numbers crunched!
If everyday wasn't sunny: 277 days to reach my goal
>>> 18kg * 2.2 pounds/kg = 39.6 pounds. 1 pound a week..so 39.6 weeks ..= 39.6 * 7 = 277.2
If exactly half of a week was sunny: 222 days to reach my goal
>>> 500 calories/day + 250 calories per sunny day * 3.5 sunny days a week = 4375 calories a week. (4375 cal/week) / (3500cal/pound) = 1.25 pound/week. 39.6/1.25 = 31.68 weeks = 221.76 days
If everyday was sunny (which it may well be in the summer!): 185 days to reach my goal
>>> 750 calories a day * 7 = 5250 cal/week. 5250/3500 = 1.5 pound/week. 39.6/1.5 = 26.4 weeks. = 184.8 days.
As you can see..it could make a world of difference.
I'm on a 1 pound/week gain plan..and having the sun cheering me on everyday will save me 92 days!
