Newb! - Teams??

Hiya

I'm new...Just trying to get into the flow of marking down all my food...I am kinda embarrassed to do it at work cause I don't want people to laugh at me! :( But I am trying to remember everything when I get home...Exercise is my downfall....I'm so lazy :( SO I hope this will help!!!

I was just in the 'encouragement' section and saw a lot of teams...? Whats the deal there? Do people just group up and keep each other going??

    Some people decided to make teams, similar to The Biggest Loser (but with a lot more people on teams).
    It's a way of staying motivated. Sometimes there are challenges (to drink so many glasses of water, exercise so many hours, etc) to keep you going. I'm on the Blue Team.

    Other than that, I hope you like the site (it's really cool), and I hope you reach every goal you set for yourself! Never give up. =D

    You're welcome to join the team I'm on - the Final Meltdown. We love new people. You just set your own goal, and check in as often as you can for motivation from the rest of us. Our current challenge started on the first of June, and goes until July 4th. I'm in for 8 lbs. Hope to see you there! Just find today's thread, or look for a new thread in the morning. Mary
