i have done 30ds twice and i am doing Rin30 now. I am wondering what other 30 min dvd;s are out there that are good? I see so many but they are 1 hr long... i want a shorter one so i know i have NO reason not to get it in daily.... i am definitely not ready for things like insanity, p90x, etc... plus they are too long. suggestions of 20-40 min ( max) dvd's please.....

I really like Jillian's Yoga Meltdown. It's about 34 mins for Level 1, 30-ish minutes for Level 2, and I burn only a little less than with RI30. Some may say it's not "real yoga," but whatev-- it's a nice, bendy workout. ;)
  • The Firm Calorie Explosion is good. It has 4 12 minute segments plus warm up and cool down. So, if you do 2 segments you are a little over 30 min. It uses weights with cardio and some kick boxing. Similar exercises to what Jillian does.

I'm always looking for ideas for new ones. I'm currently doing P90X but you're right--it is long. I have about 3 weeks left and I'm looking forward to doing something different for a while.

I was just reading about Shape's Fat Blast workout. It's for sale on amazon for $8 something and has good reviews. You can mix and match 3 different 15 minute workouts so you could do just a 15 minute workout or combine them and do 30 or 45 minutes.

Shape Bikini Body Transforming- 3 pretty good 30 minute workouts. The interval cardio workout based on the idea of climbing rolling hills and led by Micheele Dozios is especially good.

Self: Bikini Ready Fast with Ellen Barrett- circuits with weights, a little plyo and some pilates inspired moves. The main workout is 30 min. There is a 9ish minute bonus ab routine on the DVD too.

My current favorite thing for videos is making mixes on You Tube. Fitness Blender, Bodyrock, Pop Pilates and Bexlife are my favorites. There are a lot of 5-20 minute options that I can mix and max to make the workout I want.
