I bought some at the store the other day (the light chocolate variety) and was reading the ingredients list. It's pretty long and the last ingredient is sucralose. Are these bad for you health wise? Do you drink them or not? Why? I'm thinking I'll save them for days where I need to be lower on calories because theyre 15g of protein and no sugar so theyre pretty filling for only 100cals.

I drink them to get my protein in with low fat and not a lot of calories.

Thanks for posting this topic....I try to get protein in wherever I can...But don't want to drink protein shakes all day long...I love chocolate milk...Is that what they pretty much taste like?

ETA: Duh...I didn't realize that these are protein shakes....My brain just heard chocolate w/protein...lol
They sound good though...I am going to at least try one...

I bought the Lactose free kind a few days ago. It tastes like chocolate milk for the most part, thank goodness. Some protein shakes have that really "chalky" taste, especially fruit-flavored ones.

I only have half a bottle a day because I'm not a breakfast eater and never have been. It's a good way to make up for not having to prepare a breakfast. I can just grab it and run out of the door.

I tried them once and didn't like it. I find them rather expensive and I prefer to choose my protein powder and just mix it with almond milk or skim milk!

I use 1 scoop of muscle milk cytosport protien powder (flavor: vanilla creme) to my smoothies, with 1 banana, 1 c. berries and water.
