Insanity anyone?

So tomorrow is my first day of Shaun T's Insanity. I am scared, excited, nervous, hesitant, hopeful.... I am afraid I am setting myself up for failure because I've started so many of these infomercial DVD's and have never completed one. My excuse for not working out is that I have two kids that don't let me sleep through the night so I obviously can't wake up early and work out, right? Oh, and my other excuse is that I'm lazy. But that's a complete lie.

The truth is that I don't want to deprive myself of foods I love. I have low self-discipline when it comes to eating foods I try and stay away from. I'm also afraid my body will refuse to change after putting in the effort and I'll be fat forever.

So tomorrow is no excuses! I have all of the tools I need to succeed. I have more than one support system in place. I have the right foods in my cupboard so I don't get to the point of starvation and then just end up inhaling any food I can get my hands on. I've taken my measurements and before pics. I'm going to be religious about keeping my food journal. I even went out and bought an awesome pair of cross-trainers!

This is the year. Tomorrow is the day.

If anyone has any before and after pics from completing the Insanity program I would really appreciate seeing them for motivation! Thanks MFP members! You guys rock!

Wish me luck!

Rachel - (finally someone who signs their posts) I to am lazy & a single father to a four year old! It seems we eat, tidy up, do some chores, play a little & repeat haha. Don't deprive yourself of the foods you like, just balance them into your macros. OR use the cheat day method & take one day a week to eat whatever your heart wishes.

There are many stratedgies to success & all with plus or minuses, don't do what others say, do what works for you. I have completed P90X twice, P90X2 & am eight days into an Insanity/P90X Hybrid, I am not infomercial material but each round has seen benefits & has been worth doing. You'll be surprised but after awhile your body won't want as many "treats", it all takes time.

Just do what you can, AT YOUR OWN PACE!, each day, Good Luck.
