so I went home for holidays., had my usual check ups with the Doctor. All is good! except.......my iron levels are too low. my body dosn't absorb iron to well. so, I was told to eat more red meat or iron suppliments. I choose to eat more red meat. my understanding RED meat is excellent for iron, beef, lamb,- kidneys, liver etc....suppose to be high in iron. so how do you know your getting at least 100grams of iron? MFP told me after my 300g steak 'n' kidney meal, I received 0 iron??????

The nutrition info on MFP is user-provided, and many people will not go to the trouble of entering all the micronutrient info when they add a food to the database, so that's probably why it showed 0 g of iron.
