So good, I had to share :)
I am not a huge fan of oatmeal or the likes, I eat it for the benefits but usually have to choke it down. This morning, however, I experimented...nothing complicated, just added a couple things. I think I'll be eating this often! We will call it Blueberry Banana Nut Hot Cereal!
Ingredients:
1/4 c. Bob's Red Mill 7 Grain Hot Cereal
3/4 c. water
In a microwavable dish, covered, cook for 3 minutes!
Add:
1/4 c. almond milk
1/2 c. thawed frozen blueberries (you want the juice from the thaw)
1/4 c. chopped walnuts or pecans
1 half of a banana sliced
Mix together and enjoy!!
(It has a pretty large amount of calories but that is where I eat most of mine anyways....and you could always cut it in half.)
