My BRI is 1558 should I eat that or less or more calories Im usually on 1200-1300 weightloss is 0.5lbs a week to 3lbs a week ive week 11 weigh in tomorrow upto last week id lost 19lbs.
I have 37 weeks until I get married I need to lose as much as possible x

More! bmr is what your body uses for essential basic needs, any activity is on top. Do you know your tdee? I use fat2fit radio to calculate my bmr and tdee...

I just posted this on another thread, so I am copying and pasting but bottom line is DO NOT go below you BMR:
Your body needs X amount of calories to survive (your BMR). If you do not provide your body with this energy (calories are a unit of energy) via food, it will find it elsewhere. That “elsewhere†it finds it is your muscle (aka lean tissue).
OK, so now you are eating below your BMR and losing fat and muscle. By reducing the amount of muscle your body has, you are lowering your body’s energy requirement. This is known as killing your metabolism. This is why strength training is recommended for people losing weight. The more muscle you build, the more energy your body needs, the better your metabolism.0 -

so why do people keep saying eat 1200 ?
I also find if I go over 1300 a day I dont lose much? It maybe my 2o years of yoyo 'dieting' now Im on here Im trying to change to way of living,or could it be im 42?

Mine says 1884 light exercise and 1609 seditary :noway: gosh Ive been eating 1200-1300 Ive upped it to 1460 this week as I didnt lose last week and was 100%x Thanks
