you cannot hope to lose a significant amount of weight without making proper lifestyle changes...

they're my thoughts anyway... yes if you are overweight any amount of exercise is better than nothing, and turning down a 3rd cupcake is a step in the right direction, but you wont lose and keep off a significant amount of weight unless you understand that your current lifestyle made you that size, and so you have to CHANGE that lifestyle if you wish to lose weight and keep it off...
