IBS - how to eat healthy without eating trigger foods

Hi Everyone,
I found out about a year or so ago that I have IBS issues. I'm recently finding out that many of my trigger foods that upset my stomach are the ones that are healthy for me. Does anyone else know of some healthy snacks/recipes of foods that are also IBS friendly. I know everyone has different trigger foods, but I was still curious.
It'd also be nice to build a community of support of people who know what it's like. Please feel free to add me if you need any support!
Thanks,
Becca

What are your trigger foods?0

Some of my trigger foods that I've discovered are beans, broccoli and some diary products. Also, I've noticed that certain soy products do it too.0

I had what I thought was IBS for years, but actually found out that I have Diverticulosis and possibly a mild case of UC (I get my results on the 24th). Eating has always been a challenge for me because there didn't seem to be any rhyme or reason for my triggers (sometimes I'd eat a certain food and be fine and then would eat it another time and it would bother me severely). I have to limit my dairy products and can't drink a glass of milk, use it in cereal, or eat ice cream, but I'm okay if there is milk in something and I can eat white, uncooked cheeses (mozza, parmesan, feta, goat) and yogurt. If you're partial to ice cream, sorbet is a non-dairy substitution and available in low fat/low sugar varieties. I've actually had a lot of success going about 75% gluten/wheat free and my stomach has felt the best it's been in years. If you were considering cutting down/out gluten/wheat, items made with rice or oatmeal instead of wheat and regular flour are great. Quinoa makes an excellent side dish. For meat, I don't eat red meat or pork (haven't in years, but that's because I'm fussy and don't like the taste of it), so I'm all about seasoned boneless, skinless chicken breast.
I'm pretty sure that beans and broccoli bother a lot of people regardless of whether they have stomach issues or not. LOL!0
