Protein

I am trying to figure out if I should up my protein or not. I drink a protein shake in the morning after exercising and usually only use one scoop of powder. But, since my workouts have been more intense, steady uphill bike climbing, I am wondering if I should use more protein. Any thoughts and advice will be welcomed.

    I can't see your diary, so I have no idea what your current protein intake is. Also, what are your goals? Muscle gain? Just fat loss?

    I am trying to lose weight and gain muscle. As my hubby says, the more muscle the better a person looks. :smile:

    I agree with your hubby!! :) Are you strength training? I usually eat 1.5 to 1.75 grams of protein per pound of body weight each day - I lift heavy 5-6 days per week, 20 minutes of cardio per day.
