In need of Healthy Lunch Ideas!

I am a college student that lives off campus so I have to bring and prepare my own lunches. I've been eating plain salad and pb sandwiches with carrots and it's getting boring so I need some ideas! It has to be stuff that doesn't HAVE to be refrigerated since it'll be in a container or wrapped for a few hours before I eat it. Stuff that tastes good is a bonus! I'm open to any ideas

apples, oranges, bananas can all be carried.
i was on a tight budget in college, i used to eat canned sardines (the kind with bones for calcium, just try it) with crackers. Sometime's I'd steal a few mustard packets from one of the "restaurants" on campus. That will stay good in your backpack for weeks.
You can always try meal-replacement bars, but some are pricey and you might be left hungry. If you have "processed" fridge food, like single-serve yogurts and string cheese... they'll be food-safety ok a few hours out in your backpack, but the temp/texture might not be as good.
you can even bring regular lunch meat sandwiches, just skip the mayo.

Some of the items I bring for lunch are protein bars, pita chips, tangerines, cans of tuna with mayonaise and relish packets with crackers, Have you considered getting a small cooler? That would greatly increase your food options.0

How about getting a gel freezer pack and insulated lunch box. Then you can take whatever you want!0

If you have access to a microwave, take a sweet potato wrapped in a paper towel, zap it for 2 minutes and it's ready to eat. I have never tried to zap it and then carry it for a few hours but I don't know that it would go bad. Or, how about mixing up some black beans, corn, chopped red pepper, green pepper, onion and jalapeno. Add a little salt, pepper and cumin. You can either eat this on crackers or take some cabbage or lettuce leaves. If you would rather, you can always spitz some italian dressing on it too. I have taken this with me in a tupperware and it's fine for a few hours without refrigeration!
Good Luck! Also try some pretzels with almond paste for dipping, or a little nutella....this isn't for everyone.0
