Lake Las Vegas Xterra Trail run 5k/10k/21k 2012

Its next weekend (apr15th) and Im registered and ready to go for the 5k. Anyone else going? Has anyone here done it in previous years and have some tips I need to know (i.e. terrain, hills, weather, etc) ?

Anyways, this is my second 5k and Im excited. Hoping to finish less than 33:00

    Really, no one was interested in going to Las Vegas, NV for the weekend. I was certainly interested in Las Vegas style shenanigans and some running. lol.

    It was a real tough course but it was fun. I finished 61st out of 185 with a time of 34:19. I barely beat all the 9yr olds, lol. Results can be found at

    Next year I hope to be able to do the 10k.
