I am both lactose and gluten sensitive and am looking for some new recipes. Anyone out there able to help?

    my favorite side dish:

1 can each of black beans and garbanzos. rinsed and drained, about a can's worth of volume of tomatoes, chopped to about the size of the beans. And a full bunch (or two if they are small) of flat leaf parsley chopped up. a green onion or two sliced thinly on the bias if you have them (the only optional ingredient).
sometimes we do two cans of black beans and 1 can of garbanzos. (somehow the garbanzos seem to be, um, ahem, stinkier)

    add a dressing:
olive oil and juice of 1 lemon in equalish parts. Zest the lemon and put that in the dressing too. 2 or more cloves of garlic crushed and salt and pepper to taste.

this dressing is also an excellent marinade for millions of things. our favorite is asparagus... at least a few hours of soaking, and then grill it on teh BBQ.

it's like tabouli without the wheat.

Just a note from someone with a milk-protein allergy... a lactose intolerance is significantly less annoying. you dont' have to worry about trace amounts of milk products or cross contamination. Many cheeses are naturally lactose free. You dont' need to be dairy-free, just "lactose-aware"

    :-)

There's a Gluten free group on here (just search gluten free under groups). My diary is public and I have a bunch of GFCF sites bookmarked so feel free to message me and I'll send you what I have! :flowerforyou:

Google Paleo diet recipes. They are all gluten and dairy free.
