Hitting macros without supplements?

Does anyone else have trouble staying within their calorie allowance while hitting their macro targets?
I've no trouble with my daily limit, and I eat pretty well - almost all homeprepared, chicken, fish, pulses, lots of veg, wholewheat bread and pasta, etc - although I'm not saying I'm perfect, far from it, chocolate, wine, and chinese take away creep in here and there occasionally!
I'm still fairly new to MFP and keen to get the most out of it - still feel like a real beginner compared to lots of others on the site...
The main macros I wanted to achieve were fibre, protein, and calcium. I've pretty much given up my beloved cheese due to the calorie count, and don't like other dairy. My calcium is consistently way low, and even eating the way I do my protein and fibre are under most days. I loathe protein shakes etc.
I wouldn't mind taking benefibre and calcium supplements and this might be a route I have to go down, but has anyone else struggled to get what they need from food alone, and if so what have you done about it, I'm looking for tips here.

If you don't like milk, yogurt and don't want to eat cheese then a calcium supplement may be the o ly way to get in the required calcium. That also makes it harder to get in the protien. I do a lot of low fat yogurt and cheeses. I also used protien shakes because it's an easy way to get in the protien when I'm not hungry. Have you tried nectar fruits protien? It mixes with water and comes in crystal light like flavors. Your diary isn't open so I can't comment on what you are eating and what you may want to try. Good luck!0
