Biology majors?! ADVICE!

I'm currently a junior in college working towards my degree in biology and minor in psychology. I'm starting to freak out because people are telling me I won't be able to find an entry level job with a biology degree and I should have gone into something more specific. Anybody else graduate with a biology major? What do you do? Advice?

    Hi!

I majored in biology too. I don't think finding a job in this field is hard at all. What do you want to do with your degree? If you're still in school, you should really look into student employment in a research lab, if you haven't already. That will give you tons of experience in lab techniques and research, maybe even be co-authored on a few papers if you contribute enough! That will make you stand out above the rest when you look for a job when you graduate.

Most lab jobs only require a bachelor's degree and if you live in an area with a lot of universities (e.g. a lot of research labs) and you have a lot of experience earned while you are in school, you shouldn't have a tough time after graduation!
