Homemade Fiber/Protein Bar Recipes?

Hey all! I'm starting to try and get healthier about what we're eating around here (i.e. if I don't know what it is, I'm going to try and avoid it) and sadly, that means I should start looking for something to replace my daily fiber bar... I looked online and found a few recipes, but I'm not that impressed with any of them. Any of you make your own fiber or protein bars? I'd love to start coming up with a recipe!

Haha -- I was just about to post this!!
I haven't tried to make them yet, but I have all the ingredients so I should be making them this week sometime. I'll let you ladies know how they turn out! I'm kind of obsessed with Larabars.0 -
Generally protein bars include these ingredients:
Milk or milk substitute (Almond milk is common)
Oatmeal
Peanut Butter
Whey Protein(usually chocolate)
Optional Honey or Agave Nectar.
Fruit/Nuts per preference.
Mix together, refrigerate like no bake cookies.
Coat with ground flax seed if too sticky.0 -

I looked at the Lara bar recipe and it looks yummy! I think I might add some chia seeds at least to mine to up the fiber too.0 -
