Counting calories

Can anyone give me any tips on counting calories?

    I don't understand the question.

    Whatever food you eat, plug it into your food diary. It will keep a running tally of your calories. If you can, plan you meals ahead of time. Shop and buy real, natural food.
  • READ.EVERY.SINGLE.LABEL

    Its pretty much that simple. When you're in the grocery store, don't be afraid to be "that guy" standing there reading and comparing the backs of cans, bags, and boxes.

    MFP makes it really easy to count cals b/c it saves your most frequently eaten things whether they are whole foods (banana), packaged foods (a brand of yogurt or milk), or recipes (you hand enter each ingredient!)
