Here's another yummy recipe from Guilt Free Cooking, I am making this tonight to go with Lasagna so I'm not sure how it tastes yet. I'm also going to use Whole Grain bread dough, not white to make it a little healthier.

1 loaf (1 pound) frozen bread dough, thawed
1/2 cup finely chopped sweet onion
1/2 cup butter, melted
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp dried parsley flakes
1/4 tsp salt

1. Divide dough into 24 pieces. In a small bowl, combine the remaining ingredients. Dip each piece of dough into butter mixture; place in a 10-in. fluted tube pan coated with cooking spray.

2. Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 1 hour. Bake at 375 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Serve Warm.

Nutrition info:

One serving (1 piece) equals

87 calories
5g fat
2g saturated fat
10mg cholesterol
169 mg sodium
10g carbohydrates
1g fiber
2g protein

These are the nutrition facts for white bread, my whole grain has more fiber, less calories/fat, etc.

Enjoy!!

I wonder if you could put the bread pieces in mini muffin pans to make it easier for portion control.

Actually it's really easy for portion control because you seperate the dough ahead of time, you can see each piece clearly and just pull it apart each section, they come right out individually!
