Well, confession time...............
I'm leaving for Atlanta tomorrow for a long weekend with my husband. The MAIN push to get me to start to lose weight was this trip. So, I'm happy with what I've done in 5 weeks, BUT my concern now is that our eating this weekend is going to ruin all that I've worked for so far. I want to have fun, but not be completely disappointed when I get back. We talked about working out while we're there, so that could help. My second goal is to not dread the scales at my annual doctor visit in March. What are y'all's thoughts?

A lot of hotels have great exercise facilities. Most at least have a swimming pool. Either way, do a lot of walking/sightseeing and take a bit of time to do some exercise...it's actually more fun in a new environment, and it makes you feel especially good to know that you are having a good time AND maintaining your health.
That said, I think you ought to relax a bit and not worry too much about one weekend ruining all of your hard work. Allow yourself some treats...enjoy them totally, just don't go hog wild. You may not continue losing over the weekend, but you won't gain that way either.
Congratulations on making your goal for the weekend...now go out there and have fun. You've earned it!!!
