What does the little lock mean to the left of the thread title???

It means the thread is locked.

Lots of different reasons for this happening. Usually it means the thread got out of hand, and therefore no more posts are allowed. But sometimes, *sometimes* it is because the poster's question was answered thoroughly :happy:

But this particular thread didnt get off topic, imo... It was discussing people increasing their calories.

It would be helpful if you would tell us what thread you're talking about rather than having us try to guess.

If it was a particularly long thread, it would roll over to Part Two after 500 replies.

I just looked at your topic history. I assume its the "for the 500000th time..." thread. That one hit the maximum number of posts allowed (20 pages worth). If you want to continue the conversation/topic - use the "search" function and figure out how to "continue topics"

**EDIT - if you look at the last post in that thread, it did get continued. you can click on the "topic is continued here" link
