Whole Wheat Bread

Bree's Bread
1 Loaf (20 Slices) | Total Time: 2 hours | Skill: Moderate
Ingredients:
1 cup Unbleached/Unbromated All Purpose Flour
2 cups Whole Wheat Flour
2 1/2 tsp Yeast
1 1/2 tsp Sea Salt
¼ cup Honey
¼ cup Oil
1 1/4 cup Warm Water
Butter (optional)
1/2 cup Ground Flaxseed (optional)
Instructions: Add all ingredients except butter and water to a mixer with dough hook. Add water and let knead 6-8 minutes. Add flour if dough is too wet or water if dough is too dry. Remove from mixer and shape into a loaf. Place loaf into a greased bread pan. Cover and let rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until dough rises slightly above the edges of the bread pan. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Bake for 30-40 minutes or until crust is browned. Remove from oven and gently tip out onto a cooling rack. Rub top with butter.
Tips: Let cool before cutting into it so the bread will have time to settle and not stick to your knife or fall apart. Also, let cool entirely before storing in a plastic bag or air tight container. If it's still warm, condensation will form inside the container and encourage spoilage and mold more quickly.
