Why I ever left myfitnesspal is beyond me, and here I am again...back. I was inspired to try Medifast after my boyfriends co-worker lost 99lbs in 4 months. My boyfriend is also currently doing Medifast. This diet is not for me. Sure I can make myself do the diet, I will hate every minute of it, but I will just gain the weight right back. So I've thought about this a lot. I know the work has to be done. I know it requires eating right, and moving more. So my question is can I use Medifast as a supplement, or does anyone know of a reason I should not use it to supplement:huh: ? I do think I work best if I have a small meal/snack every 2-3 hours. I don't mind the Medifast as long as I use that as a meal and not the only thing I am eating day in and day out, if that makes any sense.

You really hit the nail on the head.........if you hate it, you won't stick with it.
The main reason I see to not use any form of weight loss "product" like Medifast is that it's not sustainable. If you want to see weight loss for life, you need to change your life. Not just buy some prepackaged meals for a few months, know what I mean?
You know what needs to be done........you need to eat better and move more. You certainly can do that without special meals. If they do help you jump start your weight loss that could be good, but I think more importantly you need to think about it in terms of a lifestyle change, not just some magic product that is going to make you lose weight.0
