My whole life I've done Zumba and power-walked, which has helped me to lose weight but not as much as I'd like, and it certainly doesn't tone in any major way.
The reason I never strength trained, aside from finding it excruciatingly boring, is that my ideal body would still have some softness, I don't want a six pack. Something like this would be great:

I just get so antsy standing there doing bicep curls in the mirror! Can someone with similar body goals give me an insight into their program--what you do, for how long, and how you keep it interesting and manage to build up a sweat?

You don't need to lift to look like that0

she does not look like she lift weights but she prob does cardio
I do dead lifts and bicep curls and weighted squats and other stuff and I am still soft ;-) except my arms and legs in certain spots are rock hard0
