Hey Everyone,

So I've been a member of MFP for about a year now and I lost about 30 lbs in the first few months. I was feeling so great, but then I went on an all-inclusive vacation to Cancun in November and since then I've been on and off of my eating and exercise habits.

I started out at 222 two years ago, and was at 209 when I joined MFP last March. I was able to get down to 176, (that was in November before my vacation), and now I have ballooned back up to 191 lbs as of yesterday. It's very frustrating as everyday I tell myself "today is the day to get back on track!" and then I end up eating a healthy breakfast & lunch, only to pig out in the evenings. The stress from my job and family life really contributes to that, but I really don't want to lean on those as excuses.

Basically I am looking for help as to how to get back on track, as well as an exercise program that I can stick with. I HAAATE to exercise. Going to the gym, using a machine, doing fitness tapes - I really don't find it enjoyable. I love walking outdoors, swimming, things that are fun and things I can do with other people. I also want to start lifting weights as I know muscle mass helps to burn calories faster and more efficiently than if you didn't have any muscle. Does anyone have any good weight training programs that are both fun and good for beginners?

Any tips or advice you could give me would be sooo appreciated! Thanks everyone :)

Have you tried Zumba? It's basically dancing!

For weights - what about New Rules of Lifting for Women? I just started that. It's a workout but I much prefer it to running lol
