My board really depends on where I have it on the floor - could it be that?

I gave up on using my Wii Fit to track my weight. I had the same issues as you, one day it would say I gained 5lbs and the next day it would say I lost 16lbs! I just ignore the Wii and go by my own scale.

I found that the board is more reliable and accurate on a flatter/harder floor. One day I put it on a more padded section of my carpet and it did the same thing. But as long as I have it in the worn down/harder/flatter section of carpet that I always have it on its accurate. I do have a regular scale too so I double check any major weight loss on that before I take my Wii measurements seriously.
