HRM for the iphone 4s?

I really want to get an HRM that works with the iphone 4s. I know there are plenty of apps out there but of course your going to need the equipment to use with the apps. That is where my problem comes in, I have no idea what to buy! Any ideas?

    I'd like to know this too. I love using RunKeeper but I haven't used it while using my HRM (they aren't compatible so think I might get some interference in the reading).

    Wahoo Fitness makes a HRM for iPhone. I have no experience with it though.

    I use the Azumio app for checking resting HR and I have a Polar FT4 for workouts.

    thanks, yes I see Wahoo works in with the Runkeep app also. Never heard of Wahoo so not sure if it is in NZ.
