last year I lost 3 stone. according to my tanita scales my body fat did not change (other than the usual fluctuations), and I didn't loose many inches. I don't know where the weight went.
I carry my weight around my middle, not my lower belly, but sort of a rubber ring just below my bust.
can anyone advise me of anything to eat, or what diet to follow that would help shrink this area, I know I can't spot reduce, but I have heard low carb may help, at the moment I am just calorie counting.
How important is watching my macros at the moment. I just find it all overwhelming, and don't even know what they should be set at.
Also, should I be doing resistance training, or ab work. I have heard there is no point until the fat goes (by calorie deficit and cardio) as it could make me look bigger if I gain muscle.
any words of wisdom gratefully received, thanks

Someone fed you some crap.
Try to incorporate strength training into your workout regimen along with your cardio.
Like you said you can't spot reduce, so just eat at a deficit and lower your bf%.0 -
It's hard to give advise when I don't know what you're doing. If you make your food diary public it would be easier to give advice.0
