Congrats on the accomplishment!! You should feel proud, it is hard work if you have never been a runner. I just finished Week 7, Day 1 yesterday. It is amazing what you can do when you do not give up easy ;)

    Keep it up!!

Acheived an amazing NSV for myself today. I finally finished my very first 5K, not the race, it's on the 21st, we are just preping for it. My hubby and I are running it together and today we followed the exact route that we will run next week. We actually completed the entire thing together and that is amazing! He's more of a sprinter over short distances and I'm better at endurance, but usually over very small distances. We finished in under 40 minutes, time was 38 minutes or so. Pace was 11.5, I am so proud of us!

Good job! I was ready to start week 5 but my shins wouldn't hear of it so I went back to week 3. I'm going to move up to week 4 again tonight! Hoping my shins hold up better with my new shoes this time.
