Back on the Fitness Train!

After having spent the last of my 14 yrs in the Fitness Field, the last two of those 14, I was M.I.A. from the weights. Cardio here and there, not as religious about it as I was before but I did manage to keep most of it off by eating clean. I changed carreers about 5 months ago, and now that I'm no where near a gym, I've put on about 15 lbs. DIet isn't a problem for me, nor is cardio, but attacking the weights is where I lack motivation. Not to mention a torn miniscus I had babied for a very long time. Luckily it healed on its own, but now trying to strengthen those muscles around the knees enough to where I can attempt a lunge, or even a squat. My legs have gone to crap. You'll never see me in shorts or mini dress till I either get on it , or just have my knee checked for possible surgery. I've realized the longer I wait to do either, the worse they get.
I decided to start getting up at the crack of dawn again, and meet my good friend at the gym to knock out the weights, then follow up with cardio. Today is day two, and although I didn't work legs, I feel great ( and shoulders are sore as heck from yesterday, lol)and I have found my motivation through her. You all know how it is: fall off the wagon, and then it's hard getting back up, but it's developing that 21 day habit again that will get one back on track and on your way again! I'm logging my foods here after every meal, and I'm excited to see where I'll be after the first 21 days!
