From people who Plowed through a plateau.... Need help!!

Ok so ever since I've joined MFP 40 days ago I've only lost 3 pounds. I used to run 3.5 miles a day and was at 1200 calories and under. Then with all the info on here I upped my calories (1500) and started eating them all back to see if that helped. Then I lowered my run to 2.5 miles *6 days a week and added strength training. I started to really watch my sodium and carbs and went back down to a 3 pound loss and I'm stuck again. I decided to change runs to insanity today and hope that confuses my body a bit. I'll try anything healthy. I'm just confused y I'm not losing. I'm on a 4 week plateau and I hardly ever indulge. I drink coffee everyday.. Could that be it? My diary isn't much help bcuz I barely logged lately (vacation) and I only changed sodium and carb levels just this last week. Oh btw. I'm 5'1.5" and I'm at 132. I just had a baby in November. Pre pregnancy weight was 124, best weight was 112 looking at least to hit 117. I need advice. I don't care how hard it is. I'm

  • are you breast feeding? 16 pounds isn't much--Is 1500 your net?
  • Stopped breastfeeding right when I hit my plateau. Yes 1500 is my net. I eat within 10 calories of my exercise calories. I'd luv to get a heart monitor but no money with this expensive new angel :)

  • I'd say just wait it out--can you go BACK to breast feeding? it usually helps new moms shed the weight AND it's great for the little one.
