I want my Wings back....

So, 9 years ago I entered into a relationship that I thought I would be in for the rest of my life. We talked about committment and marriage, but it never came? Last year I started to realize that maybe it was me. I had gotten "comfortable" and I had reached my heaviest weight ever (5'9" - 250lbs) and I had lost my wings. I no longer felt free and spirited, but rather caged and alone. Here I was 30 years old, not married, no family, struggling with my increasing scale numbers, feeling unsupported and pretending that my life was perfect, I hid my emotions, I hid myself. I woke up one morning in January and said enough is enough. I joined a local bootcamp and starting eating healthy and clean. I began on a journey that I had no idea where it was leading. 3 months later and 40 lbs lighter I still feel alone. Losing wieght and feeling better about myself did not help my relationship but seemed to hinder it. I made the decision to walk away from that feeling, I need to love myself and have someone love me as I am. So the cage door is open and I'm getting ready to step out of that door....I'm abandoning all I have known in this small town for the last 15 years and moving to Las Vegas. New job, new people, new scenery, but most important......new ME. I hope to have the strength to overcome any obstacles or temptations that I encounter, I hope to stay on the path to becoming an even healthier and fit me, I hope my wings grow back, cuz I'm taking flight whether I'm ready or not.
