Hi y'all!
So I'm in the midst of doing the P90X program, & I really need to up my protein intake. The P90X recovery drink is a bit too pricey for me, and from what I've heard on here, it's not all that great.
So my question is, what's your favorite protein shake or recovery drink?
Thanks!

You don't really need one, whole foods will do just fine. But if you are having trouble meeting your protein needs, Gaspari Myofusion, Trunutrition Trutein and XF Ultra peptide 2.0 are pretty tasty0 -
I use a brand from a local super market for protein, but Designer Whey is a good national brand. For recovery I drink either chocolate milk from the store, or have regular milk and then some peanut butter in a spoon (about 1.5 tablespoon). It's got carbs and protein and it's cheap. Unless you're training like an Olympian, you probably don't need to worry about elite nutrition and 4:1 carb protein ratios.0

I've recently starting taking Matrix 5.0 protein by Syntrax. It is around 86% protein per serving, which is pretty good compared to others, and it mixes great with water, and tastes good. It does have a bit of an aftertaste, but I have gotten a 5 lb. bag for around 35-40 depending on where you purchase.
Also, if you are wanting a more pure protein, Dymatize Nutrition, makes a protein that is between 93-95% protein per serving, it is called ISO-100. It is a whey protein isolate, very good for digestion, and hitting the numbers.
I'm getting ready to start my 2nd round of p90x, and following the 50/30/20 of the workout. Good luck, and hope you find what you need. let me know if you have any questions.0 -

Now Sports Whey Protein! You can get any company, but I recommend getting Whey protein over any other forms.0
