"Unique" landmarks
Tucson, AZ, where I live, isn't really known for a lot other than hot summers and beautiful sunsets.
That being said, we have some interesting landmarks. For instance, there is this awesome Mexican restaurant that has an anatomically correct bull statue out front and they paint a certain part of it fun and festive colors/patterns/designs every few weeks.
In the winter, it is usually some variation of candy cane stripes. Other times it is painted Red and Blue (our college team, University of Arizona, has those colors), and other times, it is other things.
Do you have any interesting/unique landmarks where you are?

The Tree of Utah. This is located out in the Salt Flats, near the eastern border of Nevada. The artist put it there because the Salt Flats create a sea of flat, white nothingness and he wanted to give people something to look at. It is a very odd landmark, lol. I don't know if it has meaning behind it or not.

Here's another one. I grew up in Arivaca, AZ, and we don't have any cool looking landmarks, but this restaurant is at the turnoff for the long, winding road to Arivaca in Amado.

Chicago has tons of unique landmarks. I can't even pick just one. Besides obvious things like the Sears Tower and The John Hancock Building, we've got what we call "The Picasso," the bean, Buckingham Fountain (from Married with Children), etc. However, they recently tore down one of my favorites just outside of the city. You might remember it from Wayne's World.
Also, here's a wacky water fountain down in Millenium Park called Crown Fountain: http://youtu.be/sbxUl41dGaA0 -
Cory, I've been to Tucson. What about the McDonald's with the dinosaurs?
I can't think of any interesting landmarks at the moment where I live. But a couple of miles away from my house is a House Movers Museum. I wonder how many visitors they get in a year.0 -
