Did I lose muscle??

I have been strength training for the last 3 months (3x week). Last week I hurt my back and was put on bed rest for the week. I just started back at the gym yesterday. Oddly enough, I look as though I have never set foot in the gym, I am so flabby looking. I have actually lost 2 lbs (I assume it is water). What is this??? I have absolutely no muscle tone at all. I know I shouldn't have lost muscle in such a short time but it sure looks like it... Anyone have any ideas?

    i am absolutely no expert but as you have had a week or so off, mabey your muscles aren't storing as much water for repairing themselves? i'm sure you'll get right back on track :)

    Less weight from less water retention. As for looking flabby, it's more a personal perception than probable reality. We are our own worst critics.
