Looking for proactive fitness pals

Hi, my name is Liz. I am looking for friends who want to be positive and proactive. i need to lose about 20 lbs and am working hard at working out and eating a range of calories between 900 and 1300. i am looking for people who will motivate me and want to be motivated.
I work out every day of the work week, usually 30-60 minutes of cardio and 30-60 minutes of weights. I like to change things up and use Jillian Michaels, Jackie Warner, The Firm, TurboFire, P90X, and others. I love to cook and am struggling with fixing a healthy meal for me, and something that my (skinny *kitten*) husband will eat.
I do like to drink wine, I have reserved that for Friday nights so that I do not add calories, but would love to find a way to include it 1ce or 2x a week...just cause I love it :)
I want to make changes in my body, I want to do it healthfully and, I want to find friends who are supportive and positive!
Please send me a friend request if you are interested in positive reinforcement and real, true interactions!
Thanks! Liz

I work out all the time--just started back in Jan after taking 4 years off when I had my kiddos. Love weight training, cardio, all of it. I eat a LOT more than you (close to 2000 a day). If that bothers you, I understand. Most of my pals eat quite a bit, but I don't lecture people about how much to eat...to each her own. I want to lose about 10-15 more lbs, and I want it ALL to be fat!! lol. I'm fun and don't take all this too seriously. This is my new lifestyle, and since I'm done having kids, I can't imagine EVER going back. I love working out too much!

Dude, I think we all choose our own goals. As long as we are achieving them successfully then more power to you! We may not align with the calorie intake, but we align with having healthy bodies. I have chosen my calorie goal based on what I tend to eat and what I need to consume based on my workout behaviours.....we are all on this road together, even if they are separate paths!

I totally agree--I wouldn't want someone telling me what to eat, so I don't presume to tell anyone else

^^This. And I can vouch for her positive outlook, too. :flowerforyou:
You can add me if you like, I love positive MFP's! I work out in some fashion every single day (weight lifting 3 x week, cardio 7x week) and I like an occasional glass of wine, too! :drinker:

Hi Liz,I'd love to co-motivate! I've found that there are a few people on my friends list, that really help keep me on track, and I love them for that. I don't necessarily need someone to say good job when I'm under my calories, or good burn when I've exercised, I'm looking for something more substantial. I exercise every day (just finishing up on Stage 2 of the "New Rules of Weight Lifting for Women"), and try to make healthy food choices (most unsuccessful yesterday, darn!). If you're interested, friend me!
