What are your other (non-fitness related) goals?

Is anybody working on improving other parts of your life besides eating right and exercising? Here're some things I am working on:
* I homeschool my kids, and I by the end of the year I want to have my oldest two ready for high school. In order to accomplish this, they have to complete their last math and grammar courses for middle school. (The other subjects are a bit more fluid.) It's kind of a long course, so I'm aiming to have this done by the end of December.
* At the same time, we're also working on a logic course that is actually their first high school credit. I'm so excited about this because I'm doing it with them, and I've always wanted to learn logic! My goal is to have the first book done by the end of May.
* I'm also teaching two of my younger kids to read. My goal is to have them finished with their phonics course by the end of July, and then I can start teaching my youngest daughter.
* One of my personal hobbies is photography. I've tried doing Project365 (one photo a day for a year) several times and always failed. I've also been neglecting my blog. So this year I set a goal of 50 photo posts to my blog. Each one has to contain a photo from a separate event (so I can't do six posts with different pictures of Easter dinner, but I can have one from church on Easter morning and one from Easter dinner at my mom's), and I also write up a short (or sometimes long) description for each.
* I read 50 books last year, mostly in the last 6 months of the year. This year I am trying to read 75, including 12 books that I read out loud to my kids.
* Finally, I have some vague ideas about needing to improve my spiritual life, that I haven't really formed into concrete goals, yet. We recently started going to church again after being unable to for months, and I just finished an awesome sketch of Saint Thomas Aquinas by GK Chesterton. I think the next step is to read / do a study of Celebration of Discipline by Richard Foster, but that's as far as I have got on a plan.

I want to get more education. I have bachelor's in sociology now, I eventually want to get my masters. I can't right now because of money (which is another goal), but I have been taking extra trainings that work puts on. Right now I'm working on my interagency co-occurring specialist certificate, which will allow me to go for my LCDP.
I am also working on my finances. I have a lot of defaulted loans (from school) that I'm working on repaying now.
I feel like the changes I've made with my diet/exercise have cleared my head and now I am able to deal with the other issues I need to work on.0 -

I am currently going to school for a bachelor's degree in Creative Writing and a bachelor's in German. I'll have both complete in December 2013!
I am very interested in German (obviously since it's my major) and I'm trying to improve and refine my grammar. I also want to travel to Germany for a month so I'm currently saving up money.
I have started the basics of my first novel and I want to keep working on that, I'm hoping I'll have the first draft by August! I want to get published before I leave college so I need to work hard to get it finished and published!
I used to be such an avid reader, but since I've been in college I haven't read as much. I hope to read at least 40 more books by the end of the year!
I love photography, and I'm really glad that you mentioned Project365 because I'm going to do it! I want to improve my photography, so this is an awesome way. I'm hoping to buy a better camera as soon as I save up!0 -
I have started Tai-Chi for stress relief and I am hoping to add to my flower beds. I am also considering learning how to seed save and more about heirloom seeds/plants. It is my goal to learn more about eating responsibly while reducing my impact on the environment. I hope to raise children that are contentious, peaceful, educated, and strong.0

Also, I injured my knee a few months ago while running and am anxious to get back to it after physical therapy ends - my goal is to run at least a couple of 5Ks in 2012! I'd love to do the Color Run in August in Boston, but I'm not sure if I'll be better by then...0 -

My goals are to have more fun with my family. We tend to get busy with all kinds of different activities, and while many of them are great I wan to make more time to just be together having fun. I'd like to take a few family day trips or longer vacations.
Then my education is going really well. I am in graduate school, and that is going great. I'm getting really close to my comprehensive exams and doctoral dissertation. I am a full time student and stay-at home mom. We have 4 kiddos. Anyway, the education part is great, and I am hoping to get my career on track as well. I worked as a substance abuse counselor recently, but I took a break to handle some personal things. After our youngest goes to school full-time I plan to either go back or find another counseling job. This should be within the next 6 months.
Anyway, there are some other small things as well, but those things are my main focus right now. I want to find a better way to balance family life, kids activities, graduate school, time for my hubs, and hopefully in the near future- work.0 -

Learn to love myself. I am in therapy and reading all I can. I always based my worth by what others thought of me and after a divorce I have just decided I can't do that anymore.
Go back to college. I am an artist and have my own craft business, but I know I can make more at it if I can improve my skills. I also want to teach art.
