Anti Fat-Acceptance Movement

So, I've been bored and roaming around various weight loss sites and somehow ended up researching the Fat-Acceptance movement. Now, before I say anything else, I fully support the acceptance of all shapes, sizes, colors, sexual orientations, etc.
The thing about this movement, it's less 'fat-acceptance' and rather 'anti-weight-loss and dieting'. For instance, may I site the psycho Kate Harding. She is the unofficial leader of the movement- or perhaps she just speaks the loudest or must vulgar. Her 'rules' include :
-No diet talk allowed -Weight loss surgery is an abomination -Fat has nothing to do with disease -The diet industry is behind “obesity epidemic†hype -Doctors are biased against fat patients -The media perpetuates myths against fat people -Anorexia and Bulimia are the only real eating disorders -All diets fail -Eating healthy and exercising rarely result in weight loss
I read about her and only half-believed this; here's a link if you're feeling as skeptical as I was (beware the language) http://kateharding.net/faq/
Now, I realize everyone supporting the movement is not crazy- some are truly only looking for acceptance and support which I can understand and agree with. What bothers me is even on the 'sane' side of the movement, it perpetuates the idea that diets don't work, weight loss has nothing to do with calories in/calories out, and other beliefs that go against what you probably believe strongly if you're part of MFP.
Just trying to start a good discussion- I think (/hope) I wrote this without offending anyone, though I think most MFPers would agree that this is as ridiculous as I see it as. If I did offend, not my intention, please take it in the manner I mean it, just curious of other people's opinions.
