The only thing I ever add to green tea is the occasional honey. Never heard of adding milk to it...

You definitely shouldn't add milk to green tea.

If you mean health-wise, a little milk isn't going to hurt you. Just be sure to log it.

To be fair, I've never tried it with milk.

I like it with or without, but when you add milk it does look a little strange.

its basically a green tea latte... i drink green tea with milk often... i think it's up to you wether or not you use milk... the milk (when using skim or nut milks or any other low cal milk) won't add many cals and the protein is a plus

LOOOOL guys! Just a question :) I'm not drinking it with milk though

Because i know milk would be odd. Guess mum saw it as something similar to yellow lipton teabags which goes well with milk.

Tastes nice tho i added one table spoon of sugar

Milk + Green Tea = WTF

    Slight amendment:
Bubble tea (green tea + milk) = win
    Matcha + milk = 50/50% win
    Genmaicha + milk = possibly

    Typical green tea = #fail

*typical green tea flavor notes are herbal or grassy, not my favorite flavors to pair with milk. And typically, you only bre green tea for a bit, with cooler water, so the flavor is much more delicate.

Green tea at the bubble tea place is always oversteeped (intentionally) so it can handle the milk. Genmaicha is green tea with toasted rice so it tastes nutty.

Supposedly milk negates the antioxidant benefits of the green tea.

I drink all hot tea with milk. Nowadays I drink green tea with splenda and a tbsp of almond milk. I don't think that little amount can affect the green tea nutritionally, but I like the subtle flavor. I just like the taste...

If you have green tea powder, 1 cup skim/light soy milk, 1 tsp green tea powder, 2-3 splenda packets. Blend with ice. Delish dessert, snack, cool summer beverage.

A lot of "instant Matcha" tea is green tea, sugar with milk powder (real Japanese matcha tea is pure green tea powder).

So it isn't such a big deal to have green tea with milk.

Green tea latte is actually pretty yummy...but not diet-friendly.

I'm just about addicted to green tea with jasmine, straight up - no milk, no honey, no nothin'!

I've heard that milk can diminish the benefits of green tea. I've also never heard of anyone actually putting milk in it though.....

No milk, no sugar, add a slice of lemon if you think it needs something.
Adding milk seems odd to me - it seems like it would be like putting milk in orange juice.

They do make green tea ice cream, though.

I've never drank green tea WITH milk to be honest...I only drink Chai with milk (there's no other way to drink it!) and sometimes a few others, but never green tea.
