Lower cholesterol without losing weight?

My boss is a very skinny male in his 60s, and today he came to me for advice. He needs to lower his cholesterol so he has cut out fatty meats and creamy pastas however he is losing weight which he does not want to do. What advice can I give him on foods to eat that are high in calories but low cholesterol? He eats a lot of nuts already. He is also very active and does karate so that doesn't help him with in regards to stopping the weight loss. Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks.

I would add loads of fish like wild salmon, which is high in omega 3, poultry, lean, grass fed meats (he is a Dr., right, he can afford it, lol) and healthy fats like avacado, olive and coconut oils. The calories can add up pretty quickly- sweet potatos, whole grain pastas and bread... Lots to try! I have read lately about how cutting out sugar can have a big impact on high cholesterol- might be worth looking into
