I exercise daily (walking 2 - 6 miles/day at a 15 minute mile), cardio kickboxing once a week for 1 hr, a few strength training (resistant bands) DVDs a week and sit-ups/push-ups daily. I consider myself pretty decent with my diet. I rarely overindulge. I have been losing an average of 1 lb a week. For the last 3 - 4 weeks, the scale has not budged. ANY SUGGESTIONS???? Thanks!

  • Your body may have settled into its excercise routine. I found when my routine was similar, doing the same thing on certain days even though it was not the same day after day, my weight loss seemed to slow to a stop. I changed up my routine and found that it kick started the weight loss again. It's like if you do the same routine you body after 3 or 4 weeks seems to think that it is normal and so it maintains.

I am a swimmer and weight lifter. I would lift weights and then water walk and water run. When my weight loss stalled. I reversed my circut on the weights and added swimming to my water walking and water running. It seems to be what I needed to do because the weight loss started back up again. I have lost 85 pounds since I started this weight loss program last May.

Mix it up a bit...whether that's with your exercise or diet. I like to have high/low cal days to keep my body guessing and it works really well.

It looks like you are eating too few calories. Read the first thread in this group. Food for thought and its working for me. http://www.myfitnesspal.com/forums/show/3834-eat-more-to-weigh-less
