A few people reported yesterday that their net calorie reports were incorrect and showing negative nets, so it sounds like a technical glitch.

if your "remaining" calories are close to zero, you've done a good job.

Hard to say without seeing your diary and knowing what your TDEE is.

MFP already factors in your weight loss (when you set it up, you was asked how much weight you wanted to lose each week) MFP subtracts this number from your daily alotted calories. The one thing MFP will not do is put you below 1200 calories because that is not healthy. but when you exercise, MFP expects you to consume your exercise calories. (That is why when you log exercise those calories get added back to your daily calories consumption. My current BMR is 2300 (figured to lose 1 pound a week) but I eat 3200 calories a day (eating back my exercise calories). I wear a Polar FT60 Heart rate monitor to get a more accurate calories burned number and eat back 85-90% of my exercise caloires..... Hope this helps.... Good Luck.....

Sorry, I read it that your reports weren't reflecting what you were actually eating, maybe I misunderstood the question.

My reports have also shown a negative net , but as I haven't exercised in days that can't be true!
