Egg Beaters?

I really like eggs, but I also know eating the yolk to much can end up being bad for you. Since I'm not a fan of just egg whites I decided to pick up a carton of egg beaters. I used what would be the equivalent of 2 eggs to make a plain omelet, but it only had 33 calories. And I was full (it was big, I couldn't eat more than that)! My question is, that is a really really low number of calories for a breakfast so should I just stick with eggs, mix eggs and egg beaters or is there enough protein in them that the low number of calories is ok?

I love them too! I usually mix stuff in with mine.... Things I like to include are very lean turkey sausage, diced onions, peppers, tomatoes, black olives, jalapenos, and cilantro. I top it with salsa. VERY yummy egg breakfast! I pair it with Sara Lee's light wheat bread for toast, only 45 calories a slice, with a few squirts of spray butter.
This way you're getting more calories to build energy for the day, but not getting the dense fats that are commonly associated with breakfast foods like sausage, cheese, and bacon.0
