1. I hit my scale victory this morning, so yay! My goal was 117, and I'm at 115.5.
2. Here is my NSV. My husband has gained a lot over the last several years because of his busy schedule, genetics, and some poor dining choices. He has done a couple of crash diets to lose weight to qualify for good life insurance rates, but as we know, the results from crash diets don't last. He does, however, exercise hard and consistently. At least 4 cardio sessions a week for his entire life. (One of my pet peeves is that people assume that if someone is overweight, they must be lazy. Very not true.)
So, in mid-January, I started to exercise to get in shape for scuba lessons (a different NSV). I keep with an exercise program way better if I eat better, so I changed the way our family eats, too. The NSV is that my husband has lost 10-15 pounds with no other changes. He exercises the same, and all he does is eat what I set before him. I'm guessing on the pounds because he hasn't weighed. I think he has been afraid to. However, he has tightend his belt 3 holes. How great to see my good habits have an impact on him!

That's so awesome. I have a similar story. My hubby is naturally thin framed, but a little thick in the middle He is constantly on the go at work, and makes poor eating choices - though he gets plenty of exercise. Anyhow - since I started cooking much healthier dinners at home every night, he's lost 11lbs since January - and didn't even have to try. It's so nice knowing that the healthier choices we make for ourselves we are also making for our family. Great NSV!!! And congrats on hitting your scale victory also!!!!0
