Stand still/Weight Watchers

So my weight has been up a couple pounds, down a couple pounds for the last couple of months. I am considering going back to Weight Watchers (where I had previous success...down 25lbs before I joined MFP). I am actually right now at the weight where I always get to and then either life gets in the way, or my brain gets in the way or whatever, but I stop losing...and eventually start gaining again.

I'm thinking that maybe rejoining Weight Watchers might help give me the push to lose my last 10+ pounds...

Any advice from anyone?

If weight watchers works for you, then you should do that. I have had success with ww but it has been limited. I find it doesn't teach you how to eat and every couple years you need to buy in to their new program. Doing it this way has me looking at all my nutrition - and hey fruits and veggies do have calories (unlike the 0 points with WW). If you are looking to just lose and be done, then do what you have had success with. If you want to learn about losing and eating healthier then do some research. Try opening your diary so others can see what you are doing. There are some people who know what they are talking about. I was always a quick fix girl and the weight always came back and more. I have been doing a lot of research and contrary to how I have always dieted, I am actually increasing the amount of food that I eat and am losing. This is the first time that I can say that I am not hungry. Good luck with whatever you choose.

I re-joined WW a couple of months ago to see if I could get the scale to move. To be honest, I have not had much success on WW, but it's probably due to the fact that I was not faithful at tracking points. I just can't afford it. You do what you think will work best for you. I like mfp better because it's free and I feel that I can eat more. I'd rather log calories than points. I know they both work, but like I said it's what works best for you. Good luck.

Thanks for your feedback! My diary is open to my friends; I'm just not all that comfortable with it being completely open to everyone. I too eat a lot as well...close to 1800-2000 calories a day depending on my workouts. :) I'm not really looking for a 'quick fix', I'm just frustrated at being up and down for the last couple of months.
