I'm really struggling with exercise. I'm 'happy' to eat all the right things and cut down on alcohol but when it comes to becoming more active I'm not doing it. I hate going to the gym or out for a walk on my own, I just can't seem to motivate or encourage myself.
My other half goes to the gym at his work but he works far from me and that means I can't go too and I have very few friends where we live (we've not lived for long).

I'd go with you, but I'm across the globe. When my back gets better, we can both agree to go and check in with each other daily. Once you go consistently it gets easier. The extremely hard part is starting. Start slow, put it in your schedule to go for just 15 or 20 minutes and then gradually increase. Putting it in my schedule really helped and just making myself do it no matter what. After two weeks you'll actually want to go. Your just going to really have to push yourself to start.0

That'd be great, thanks! I must get into a habit of going. :ohwell:0
