Before and After help

Hi, does anyone have any tips they'd like to share on taking good before and after pictures? I have my first set, but I hate the way they look (more motivation to exercise, obviously). I'm really trying to be accurate with them, and my first thought has been to just stand kind of limp since it's the only position that I know I can consistently replicate. It just looks so unnatural, though. I mean, nobody really stands like they're a dishrag draped over the sink. So, what do you guys do for before and afters? Thanks!

I would suggest standing tall with your shoulders back and relaxed. See if this helps.

p90x has a standard set that they have you do, I believe they're designed to show you pretty solid overall progress. I can't find a list online but I remember them as -

Front, arms down
Front, hands on hips
Front, arms up flexing
Side, twisting toward camera
Back, arms down
Back, hands on hips
Back, flexing

If you get these before and afters, you should be able to notice a lot of little changes. Good luck!
