Lose the weight you want to lose and do some serious core work and strength training. I mean SERIOUS core work.

You can find good free core videos on YouTube on Fitness Blender's channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/FitnessBlender/videos?query=core0 -
You can't spot reduce fat and the belly / love handles, are usually last to go. Just stay in a calorie deficit until it's gone.
Core work won't hurt though...0 -
Try cutting back on carbs and increasing fat intake. Many times insulin response can be shown to keep belly fat in place while you're loosing everywhere else.0

When you find the answer, please let me know

True, you can't spot reduce. However, the overall fat loss along with strong, tight core muscles will reduce the size of the abdominal area.
Insanity and Turbo Fire are cardio workouts. You have to target and work the specific abdominal and core muscles for that area to get tight.0 -

Thanks. I finish Insanity this week so I'll rethink my strategy :laugh:0 -
You cannot spot reduce but you can get slim down all around. Building muscle, not necessarily bulking up like a bodybuilder, will help your body consume fat from all over your body. What I like to do is circuit training and martial arts, I also prefer body weight exercises simply because I do not have time to go to a gym. Here are 3 free websites that you may enjoy.
www.warriorxfit.com This is a customizable 20 minute circuit training website that provides a great workout. The most equipment you will need is a resistance band. I love this website and I think you will see results relatively quickly.
www.bodyrock.tv This is a similar website but they use much more equipment and do not provide the count down program that the first does. A friend of mine uses this website and she loves it.
Best of all both are FREE!!!
The 3rd website is:
www.monkeybargym.com Jon Hinds offers free workouts but it is mostly geared for you to join his website and get his advise as well as buy his equipment. Nice Guy, good workouts, good home equipment.
Good luck,

That's not entirely true. I haven't done Insanity or Turbo Fire, but from I've seen, they look to be workouts with full body exercises. Full body exercises engage your core, and are more effective than isolated core exercises.0 -
Me either. But i keep at it.0
