I just made the best pizza ever!!
1 thin whole wheat premade pizza shell (7" is actually 2 servings, but who is counting:blushing: )
1/2 cup of low fat, low moisture mozzerella cheese
2 tablespoons home made tomato sauce (sliced tomatoes work well all on their own)
I made my own 'meatball' topping.
ground 7% lean ground chuck
3 whole garlic cloves
2 tbls chopped onion
tbls of italian seasonings
sprinkle of hot pepper flake
I made a nice baby greens salad to go with!!
It was high in cals for one meal, but 1/2 really would have been sufficient....:blushing:

I made a homemade pizza yesterday for lunch using a 7" whole wheat pizza crust that I found at Target - Archer Farms brand. Of course, I ate the entire pizza for lunch but it says it is 4 servings. That's crazy in opinion.
I put sundried tomato pesto sauce; sliced roasted chicken breast; sliced black olives & low fat shredded mozzarella cheese. It was great! I've got one more crust left & I think I'll try a breakfast pizza with scrambled eggs/sausage/cheese.0 -

mmmmmmmmm i like the 1st one.............I dont go much for breakfast pizza type stuff.

I regularly make a homemade pizza from a premade whole wheat pizza crust with cut up grilled chicken or lowfat peperoni, skim mozzerella and veggies of many kinds and its very low cal like 110 cals for a slice you can have 3 and a salad I love it and so does my hubby and he doesnt even know hes eating healthy. You can also use the ragu light parmasean alfredo, it's pretty low cal and really yummy for sauce on a garlic chicken alfredo pizza with spinach onion and pinapple! Give it a try!0
